What if the animals were in charge and we humans were at their mercy?
Wouldn't you hope that they were nice to us?
What if they decided we tasted good? Wouldn't you pray that at least they took care of us until they killed us and then when they did kill us, they did it in such a way that we didn't feel any pain or fear?
Wouldn't it be better if they decided that they liked us and wanted to take care of us?
The Big What If
It is, no doubt, a lot to think about. Trust me, no one wants to know what it takes to get that piece of bacon on the table, or those shoes on their feet, or cream in their coffee. No one wants to know what it's like to be treated like they are already dead, unable to feel. So guess what. They don't tell you about it. They actually make it so that you never have to find out what kind of corners are being cut for MONEY because they are that sure that you don't wanna know. And you DON'T, REALLY but you have to, because this price is much too high.
“It should not be believed that all beings exist for the sake of the existence of man. On the contrary, all the other beings too have been intended for their own sakes and not for the sake of anything else . . . there is no difference between the pain of humans and the pain of other living beings, since the love and tenderness of the mother for the young are not produced by reasoning, but by feeling, and this faculty exists not only in humans but in all living beings.”
